SCHEDULE

8:30am - Check in, Bib Pick Up & New Registration Opens

9:30am - 1km Race Starts - Grid = U18, U8, U6, Beginner Adults

10:00am - 4km Classic Race Starts - Grid = U18, U21, U16, Masters, Everyone

11:00am - 10km Classic Race Starts - Grid = U21, U18, Masters, U16, Everyone

12:15pm - Group Dance Competition - Followed by podiums for all races

 

Race number 3 in the Montana Nordic Cup!  Held at Lubrecht Forest owned and operated by the University of Montana.  Big thanks to our grooming operations, Missoula Nordic Ski Club.  This is a classic race day in the series.  Wax recommendations will be emailed the week of the race and on site waxing will be available for free (Thanks to the Ice Badgers Coaches).

Parking can be tight at Lubrecht, please use the parking by conference center or for the Ghost town on Hwy 200 for overflow, thank you for your patience in advance!

DANCINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG - yes, dancinggggg, the Nordic Dance Invitation has a group dance competition at the end of the event.  This will be done before the PODIUMS at the conclusion of the 10km race.

The 1k course will use 3 laps on the extended champions loop, it's got a 100 feet hill on each lap.  The 4km course will be utilize that extended champions loop and a punchy, hilly one lap on the A loop.  The 10km course will use mostly 2 laps of the 4km course with multiple laps on the extended champions loop.  All finishes will be by the Lubrecht rec shed.

Post race is a chili feed potluck.  "We'll provide the chili, you provide the cornbread".  All racers receive a prize (even adults!).
