## Description

The Annual White Squirrel Triathlon. Whether you are a seasoned Triathlete or a first timer, this race is a great event for you!

This sprint/beginner triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 7th 2027 at Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center in Olney, Illinois. The event will consist of a 200 meter outdoor pool swim, followed by a 14.2 mile bike (HELMETS REQUIRED), and finishing with a 5K/3.1 mile run/walk.. The event is open to all - from beginners to the most experienced athletes. Youth who will be 10 or 11 by race day may swim, run, or both, on a team. Youth who will be 12 by race day may do any, or all, of the disciplines as an age grouper or as a member of a team

The distances include:

200 meter swim

14.2 mile ride

3.1 mile run.

 

Awards for top 3 overall male and female.
Age group awards.
Top 3 Team awards
Zeus and Xena category.
