In the event of dangerous weather, organizers reserve the right to adjust course distances or course layout to maintain athlete safety. This is a Nonrefundable race. We do not transfer race entries to the following year, and we do not refund registrations. Please plan accordingly for weather. We offer hotel locations nearby and we will adjust the time if we must for the schedule. If we do have to cancel, we will reschedule the event and keep everyone informed on what comes next. We will try to reschedule the next day of the event or as close to it as safety allows. As we have in the past, if there is no snow to ski on, we reserve the right to adjust the race to a run, bike, run. For Duathlons-This is a double run for you.  Extended bonus!! We have again partnered up with our sister Tri-The Abominable Snow Tri! 2/21/27. Do both races and get 3 medals!! Just an additional $10 to register as part of the Abominable Snow Tri Race and then sign up separately for Tri45. Event is located at 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI US 49306.    Rentals:  XC Ski Rental: Forbush (our Host Location) offers XC Ski rentals for $25. Extremely good quality and already waxed for the weather. XC ski Rentals Bike Rental: Latitude 45 in Petoskey offers $50 rentals (Thursday evening -Saturday afternoon). Latitude Bike rental delivers to the event location on Thursday and will pick up the bike right after the race.  Go to the rental page and select 2 day rental.
