Here are some key highlights of the race: Scenic Course: Expect lush foliage and diverse terrains, making for a picturesque and engaging run. Variety of Surfaces: The course includes a mix of pavement, scenic dirt trails, grass, and hills, providing a challenging and fun experience. 1 Mile Kids Run: This race features three laps around the school driveway, allowing parents to cheer on their children throughout the event. Last year we had 150 kids participate -- one of the biggest fun runs in the state! Community Participation: The event attracts athletes, teachers, missionaries, and neighbors, fostering a strong sense of community. Supportive Atmosphere: Pinecrest cheerleaders and volunteers will be stationed along the course to provide encouragement and support to all participants. Saturday, September 5 - price increase Friday, September 18, 3:00-4:30 pm - Optional pre-race packet pickup at Pinecrest Academy Upper School Gym Atrium Saturday, September 19, 7:00 am - Race day registration and packet pick-up at Pinecrest Academy Lower School Gym 8:00 am - 1 Mile kids run start  8:30 am - 5K trail run/walk start NOTE the 5K is a TRAIL race, so be ready for some off-roading and watch your footing! Arrive early on race day! Parking details will be sent the week of September 14th. SWAG: All participants receive a finishers medal! Special awards for overall male/female and top 3 male/female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. All 1 Mile runners will also receive a finishers medal. All participants registered by Friday, September 4th, will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
