Take Your Running to the Runway in 2027!

Ready for a race experience unlike any other? Lace up your running shoes and hit the runway at the 6th Annual Run the Runway at Augusta Regional Airport! Whether you're chasing a personal best or making memories with the family, this one-of-a-kind 5K and Kids Fun Run lets you run where planes normally take flight—creating an unforgettable experience you won't find anywhere else in the CSRA!

As a proud community partner, Augusta Regional Airport is committed to bringing people together through unique events that make a lasting impact. The beneficiary for the 2027 race will be announced soon.

 

Register Early & Save!

Adults: $35
Children (Ages 8–12): $30
Children (7 & Under): $15
Young runners ages 7 and under can participate in the Kids Fun Run and will receive an official race t-shirt.

Early registration pricing ends January 31, 2027. Registration fees increase beginning February 1, 2027.

Register by March 1, 2027, to guarantee your official race t-shirt!

 

Day of Event Details:

Race Location: The race will be located on Lock and Dam Rd, Augusta, GA 30906, not at the main airport terminal building. Please follow directional signage to the race location. The address is New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park, 2116 Lock & Dam Rd. Augusta, GA 30906. Overflow parking will be available on the day of. Golf cart shuttles will be available.  

Start/Finish: The race has a hard start time of 8:00 a.m. for the Fun Run, and the 5k will have a hard start of 9:00 a.m. and finish at Augusta Regional Airport & Lock and Dam Park. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.

Vendors will be on-site to provide water, fruit, and giveaways.

Only service animals will be allowed.

You may run or walk. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed. 

There is no rain day alternate.
