All levels are welcome, it is a fully paved path, strollers are welcome. Packet Pick up is Friday October 30th at Sacramento Running Company 5-8pm and Saturday October 31st 7am-8:30am at North Natomas Regional Park (Same location as the race). All participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, and sticker with registration, top 3 in each age group and top 3 over all in male and female categories will receive ribbons. The race will be held at North Natomas Regional Park, it is a flat course held on the sidewalk which is a loop around the entire park. All ages and running/walking abilities are welcome to participate. Participants are welcome to wear costumes. Only dogs allowed are service dogs, this is a USATF rule because this is a sanctioned race by USA Track and field. https://www.usatf.org/home/top-utility-nav-content/event-insurance-sanctions/sanctions-faqs#Can%20dogs%20or%20other%20animals%20participate%20in%20sanctioned%20events?   This is a fundraiser for the Azteca FC Cross Country and Track and Field program. Every season members from Azteca FC work hard to qualify for the National Championships. This 5k is a fundraiser to assist the athletes who qualify to attend and compete in National Championships. Azteca FC is a registered 501C3 with a core mission of providing athletic opportunities in the sports of: Soccer, Track and Field, Cross Country, Trail Running, and Futsal.  We appreciate the support of all our sponsors in the Día De Los Muertos 5k race. The generous support of the districts and community helped us send three Azteca FC athletes to national competitions this year.  In February 2026, Gamaliel Gomez and Osiel Soto competed at the USATF Master's Indoor Track and Field National Championship and placed 3rd and 4th in the 800M and 1500M. In July 2026, Jaciel Reveles competed in the 800M and 1500M at the USATF Junior Olympics National Championship. In July 2026 Gamaliel Gomez competed at the USATF Master's Track and Field National Championship and placed 5th in the 800M and 4th in the 1500M. In July 2025, Jackson Sevilla and Ethan Tang, represented Azteca FC at the Junior Olympics In Savannah, Georgia.
