We are excited to host this race with a course starting and ending on the campus of Seven Oaks Classical School, offering a chance to enjoy our beautiful local Ellettsville neighborhood home. This is a family-friendly event, with parents welcome to bring strollers and walk the course with their children.  RUN / RUN-WALK: Participants registering for this category may either run the entire distance OR do a combination of running and walking. RACE WALK: This is a competitive race walk. If you register for this category, you must walk the entire distance, with no running allowed at any time. ON-SITE REGISTRATION / CHECK-IN: Opens on race day at 8:45 a.m. in the parking lot of Seven Oaks (200 E Association Street). RACE START: Both races begin at 10:00 a.m. REGISTRATION PRICING Registration is $25 until midnight on Oct. 22, then increases to $30 for Oct. 23 and race day. Registration is just $5 for children up to 9 years of age! (Discount automatically applied at check-out.) T-shirts are an additional $5 and only available if you register for the race by Oct. 9. Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers, both male and female, in both the run and the walk. In addition, the top male and female finisher in each 10-year age group for the run will receive an award (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). In the "9 and under" age category for the run, the top 3 male and female finishers will be recognized. Runners/walkers and community members are invited to stay for a chili and bake sale at the race finish line, along with warm drinks and a chance to visit and play on our playground.  PLEASE NOTE: The start of the event will be delayed up to 15 minutes if any of the following weather conditions exist: Tornado Watch and Thunderstorm/Lightening. At each 15 minute interval, the conditions will be reassessed. This event will be canceled if four 15 minute delays occur. The Race Director, in accordance with local law enforcement has the authority to cancel/delay this event. If threatening weather conditions force cancellation of the event, no refunds can be provided. T-shirts will be distributed. Please see a more complete Emergency Plan for additional information.
