## Description

The UAH Homecoming Pump & Run 5K on February 27, 2027 is a unique fitness event on the UAH Campus for college students and the local running community. 

Race day registration & race day packet pick-up will begin at 7:45 AM, with the race itself starting at 9:00 AM. The course will the a USATF Certified 5K Course!  

During race day registration & packet pick-up participants can complete bench-press reps to take time off their 5K finish time.  Women will be asked to complete reps with a weight of 55lbs & men will complete reps with 135lbs.  Each successful rep will deduct 5 seconds from their finish time. Participants will be able to complete reps until they fail or they re-rack the bar.  

Snacks, water, and refreshments will be provided at the University Fitness Center where the race will start! We look forward to seeing you UAH Homecoming Pump & Run 5K!
