The Newton Pride Monster Dash 5K & 1K Fun Run is Newton's spookiest community race, and we want YOU on the starting line! Lace up, dress up, and hit the streets of Newton on a USATF-certified 5K course winding through Ryerson, Plainfield, and Linwood — starting and finishing right at Newton High School. Whether you're chasing a PR or just chasing candy, this race is for you.   🎃 What to Expect 🦇 1K Fun Run: 8:00–8:30 AM 👻 5K: 8:30 AM USATF-certified 5K course through the streets of Newton Fun Run option for all ages and paces Costumes encouraged — dress to impress (or terrify!) The Newton Pride Education Foundation is proud to support our community partner, Benny's Bodega, through a race-day food drive. We encourage every runner and family to bring a canned food item or other nonperishable food donation to the race. We'll collect donations at Newton High School and deliver them to Benny's Bodega to help local individuals and families in need. One race. One community.
