This year, we are back, and we have added a new 2K Fun Walk so even more people can join in, whether you are racing or walking with family and friends. NOTE:  Anyone registering after September 17th cannot be guaranteed their T-Shirt size. 🎽 BIB & T-SHIRT PICKUP We highly recommend picking up your bib and T-shirt the day before the race to make your race morning as smooth as possible. Saturday, October 3 | 3:00–7:00 PM 📍Edgewater Community Center / Veterans Field, 1167 River Road All 10K runners and 2K walkers can pick up their bibs and T-shirts at the Community Center on Saturday. If you cannot pick up your bib and T-shirt on Saturday, race-day pickup will be available at your respective race start locations: 10K Runners pick up bib & t-shirt at 📍Edgewater Marina 2K Walkers pick up bib & t-shirt at📍Edgewater Community Center / Veterans Field   There are two different race locations: 10K RACE Registration & Race Start: 📍Edgewater Marina / Edgewater Ferry Landing Race Finish: 📍Port Imperial Ferry Terminal, Weehawken Awards Ceremony: 📍Veterans Field Complimentary ferries will transport runners from the race finish at Port Imperial in Weehawken back to Edgewater Marina, from where runners will walk approximately 6 minutes to Veterans Field for the awards ceremony.More information about the ferry service is provided below Interactive Race Map 2K WALK Registration & Race Start: 📍Edgewater Community Center / Veterans Field Awards Ceremony: 📍Veterans Field 🚗 COMING BY CAR? Primary Parking: 📍Edgewater Community Center / Veterans Field 1167 River Road 10K runners will need to walk approximately 6 minutes from Veterans Field to Edgewater Marina for the race start. Please allow plenty of time for parking and walking.   Overflow Parking: 📍Edgewater Marketplace / Trader Joe’s 725 River Road If the primary parking area is full, additional parking will be available at Edgewater Marketplace. An Edgewater van will be available to shuttle runners from the overflow parking area. Please allow extra time to park and wait for the shuttle. If you miss the van or prefer to walk, the walk to the race start is approximately 20 minutes, so please plan accordingly. 🗽 COMING FROM MANHATTAN? You can take NJ Transit Bus 158 from Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street) Purchase a Zone 3 ticket Get off at River Road at Route 5 / Marina This stop is near Edgewater Marina, where the 10K starts For your return to Manhattan, there will be no ferry service back to Manhattan after the race. You can take NJ Transit Bus 158 from River Road back to Port Authority. ⛴️ COMING BY FERRY? Getting to the race: A special ferry for race participants will depart from the 📍NY Waterway  Midtown / W. 39th St. terminal at 8:00 AM for Edgewater Marina. Please note that this ferry is at the runner’s own expense. The terminal is located at West 39th Street and 12th Avenue in Manhattan.  This is not part of NY Waterway’s regular schedule. It is a special one-time sailing arranged specifically for the race and runners traveling from Manhattan. We recommend taking this ferry if you are coming from Manhattan, as it will bring you directly to Edgewater Marina, where the 10K race starts. For your return to Manhattan after the race, you can take NJ Transit Bus 158 from River Road back to Port Authority. Returning after the 10K Complimentary ferry service will be available for race participants after the race. Two free 300-passenger ferries will operate: First ferry: Will depart when full, expected around 9:20–9:30 AM Second ferry: Will depart at 10:30 AM, or earlier if full The complimentary ferries will take runners from the race finish point at Port Imperial in Weehawken back to Edgewater Marina. From there, it is approximately a 6-minute walk to Veterans Field for the awards ceremony. ⚠️ Important: If you finish the race after 10:30 AM, there will be no additional dedicated race ferry available to take you back to Veterans Field. Please plan accordingly. 🏆 Awards & Race Finish   The Awards Ceremony will take place at Veterans Field, where runners and walkers can celebrate their finish together. The Mayor and event sponsors will be in attendance Light snacks and refreshments will be available Awards and race recognition will take place on the stage We look forward to celebrating with you!   The race is organized by the Edgewater Hudson River Waterfront Walkway Special Improvement District, a local board dedicated to enhancing and promoting Edgewater's waterfront.
