## Description

Please bring a CANned food item and join us for the 6th annual CAN the Bird 5K Turkey Trot, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, beginning at 8:00 am. The race will begin and end in the Walmart parking lot, 5885 Kingstowne Boulevard, Alexandria, VA 22315.

All ages can enjoy a run, jog or stroll around Kingstowne and its scenic Lake.

Early Bird - through October 16
Adult 5K - $30
Military 5K - $25
25 & Under - $20
12 & Under - $10

Standard Registration - October 17- November 20
Adult 5K- $35
Military 5K - $30
25 & under - $25
12 & under - $10

Last Chance Registration - November 21-26
Adult 5K- $40
Military 5K - $35
25 & under - $30
12 & under - $10

Online registration will close Thursday, November 26 at 7:45. Only online registration will be accepted.

PACKET PICKUP
Location: Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5775 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315
Monday 11/23 from 2-7pm
Tuesday 11/24 from 2-7pm
Wednesday 11/25 from 2-5PM

Location: Walmart, 5885 Kingstowne Blvd, Alexandria, VA 22315
                Race Day, Nov 27th, 7:00-8:00 AM

Participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.

Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three male and female finishers in 12 & Under and 13-18 age groups. Plus fastest male and female runner with dog and fastest male and female runner with stroller will receive an award.

Donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted by Koinonia
