## Description

Another interesting themed event hatched just last year! And why the heck not?

While St Patrick’s is in March this event is a half year warmup  - so join us. 

We have the shirts, the snacks and the beer...you have your running shoes...the perfect combo.

WE WILL ABSOLUTELY LIMIT THIS EVENT TO 75 PARTICIPANTS. 

DO NOT GET SHUT OUT!  We hit this number last year and liked it.

NOTE- the date of this event is actually "A Tad Past" the halfway mark to avoid another 5k in  the area.

 

FEATURES-

*Our nice flat and scenic course from the iconic Little Pub location in Lordship (Stratford). 
*Quiet roads & great neighbors.  
*Adult Irish appropriate beverages after you’re done (N/a too)

*A green shaded shirt with a logo yet to be determined 

*Snacks, post run nourishment, etc.  

*Awards for at least first & second place in eight age groups. Medals, Irish socks, whatever!

Of course there will be a FREE kids fun run lead by the Pied Piper

of all kids runs, the ubiquitous Donna ‘Dancing Queen’ Cramond.

REASONABLE FEES

age 21 & over $30 till 8/16, $33 till 9/12, $35 after that

age 20 & under $25 till 8/16, $28 till 9/12, $30 after that 

 

CALENDAR   

7/9     Registration opens- see increases above

9/10    Guaranteed shirt size (or other swag) ends, after that 'as available'

9/19   Early pickup (probably not if we are under 100 pre reg.)

9/20   8:00am Start pickup

          9:10am Kids Run warmup followed by our FREE kids sprint

                       Directed by the Kids Queen Donna Cramond.

          9:30am   START 5k run, walk, saunter- all abilities welcome

                       Snacks, fluids, awards to follow- then into the Little Pub!

JIM CANNOT TIME IT THIS YEAR SO WE ARE GOING OLD SCHOOL- 

JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS!

NO CHIP TIMING- All hand time using bibs with pull tags. 

It worked for decades and will again this time.

IT HELPS if you also keep your own time in case we make a mistake.
