Did you eat too much on Thanksgiving? Do you need to run or walk off that extra slice of pie, or that extra drink or two you had at the end of the night? Did you overdo it in the Thanksgiving turkey trot and need a little stretchy? Or, are you "Just Here for the Beer"? (Let's face it, most of us are!) The Rosko's Black Friday 1K is one of our favorite events of the year. Run, walk, or skip 1 kilometer (~0.65 miles) around the block with us. We even have permission to walk around the block with our beers, if you choose. And best of all, after a day of giving thanks, and during the biggest shopping day of the year, all of the proceeds from the event are donated to Dwell Orphan Care. Dwell supports foster, adoptive, and kinship families by providing goods, supplies, and services that create opportunities for the children to thrive. Help our neighbors out, and do it for the kids! (1) free beer, (1) race t-shirt, and raffle tickets included. (T-shirts guaranteed if ordered by Nov 13th. Adult sizes only. Registration for ages 16 and under are free. Must be 21+ with valid ID for drink ticket.) Prizes will be awarded for: Best Costume, Fastest Runner, Slowest Runner, and more! --- Source: [https://runthis.run/event/rs-193478-2026-roskos-black-friday-1k](https://runthis.run/event/rs-193478-2026-roskos-black-friday-1k) — data from Run This (runthis.run).
