Squirrel City Half - Cold. Hilly. Slightly Nuts.

Finish your racing year in Squirrel City and get a little nutty with us. Known for its famous Black Squirrels, take on 13.1 miles through Kent, Ohio, at the Squirrel City Half* — a late-season half marathon built for runners who aren't ready to hang up their shoes for winter. Choose the Squirrel City Half Marathon, 12K, 10K, or 2 Mile and celebrate the end of the running season in downtown Kent.

Race-Day Schedule | Saturday, December 5th

7:00 AM |  Packet pickup opens
8:30 AM | Half Marathon and 12K begin
11:00 AM | Awards ceremony (Approximately)

Age-Group Awards

Awards will be presented in the following age groups:

Under 15, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, and 80+.

Start and finish in the heart of downtown Kent, with restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and shops just steps from the finish line.

*This event is pending final approval on October 21, 2026. If approval is not granted, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
