## Description

Join Coach Anne Torrez to practice your ocean swim skills! This clinic will be geared toward those newer to swimming in the ocean. While we will touch on preparing and learning how to read ocean conditions, our time will focus primarily on practicing skills in the water. 

Saturday, September 19th, 3-4 PM*
Wallis Sands State Park, Rye, NH

Topics covered will include:
Duck diving/navigating swimming into/with/alongside waves  
Sighting in various conditions
Running start/positioning in the water
Exiting the water/running to Transition
How to swim most efficiently
Race strategy/positioning
Reviewing the Wallis Sands Triathlon Course

Personal Swim buoys are REQUIRED for this clinic. You will not be allowed to enter the water without a swim buoy! Please email Anne at anne@triityourway.com if you need to borrow one.

Please order one for your own use if you do not own one. You can purchase one HERE and use code 2026triityourway for a 20% discount. Wetsuits are strongly recommended if you are not acclimated to cold water temps, as temps can vary greatly in the ocean, even in the warmer months.

Refund policy: There will be no inclement weather date for this clinic. If clinic is cancelled with no rescheduled date, a refund less the runsignup processing fees and insurance fees will be provided to registered participants. No refunds can be given if clinic location changes, or if the clinic is moved to our planned backup date, due to unforeseen circumstances including weather and water quality. If clinic must be completely cancelled by organizers due to low registration or other unforseen circumstances more than 24 hours preceding the clinic, a refund less the Runsignup processing fees will be provided. No refunds will be provided if participants do not show up at the clinic, or if your plans change and you are unable to make the clinic.
