## Description

In loving memory of my mom, Shannon Kelly, we invite you to join us for the Miles for Mom 5K—a race created to celebrate her life, her heart, and the incredible gift she was to so many.

When Mom passed away, we asked family and friends to forgo flowers and instead sponsor a child’s Christmas. Shopping for children’s Christmas was something I always loved doing with Mom.Mom was the best gift giver—not just to the people she loved, but even to children she had never met. She had a way of making people feel seen, thought of, and loved.

This 5K is more than a race. It is a celebration of Mom’s love and a way to carry her generous spirit forward. Proceeds from the race will help provide Christmas gifts to children in need in the Grand Strand.
