## Description

Our organization is dedicated to aiding individuals and families who have been stricken by cancer. Established in 2002 after Diane lost her battle with cancer, the fund has aided families and supported organizations who help patients battle the disease. We also support the Thomaston Food Pantry & Crisis Fund and other local charities. 

Twelve years ago we decided to also promote wellness in the community and have donated a portion of the proceeds to the Thomaston Track and Tennis Facility at Nystrom's Park. The new park is a wonderful asset enjoyed by residents of all ages.

The race is also a time to honor our Veterans and remember all those who lost their lives on 9-11. Diane and Mike were instrumental in organizing the Flag Run Across America and the 50 state flags collected during the run hang as a remembrance at our finish line.
