## Description

Welcome to the Green Jays & Ghouls 1 Mile Race and 1 Mile Fun Run/Costume Run!

The race(s) will be held at the Jackson State Community College campus in Jackson, TN on Saturday, October 31st, beginning at 8:00 a.m.. The 1 mile course is certified; mostly flat and definitely fast! Just the right course to set your first or next 1 mile PR!

All proceeds and donations help fund training and travel expenses for the Jackson State Track & Field Club as they prepare for their 2027 indoor and outdoor T&F season.

To accommodate the large field expected and all paces, we are hosting 3 races:

Ages 20 and up at 8:00 a.m., ages 14-19 at 8:30 a.m. and ages 0-13 and the costume runners at 8:30 a.m.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 in each age group as well as the top 3 finishers in each race.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Race day registrants must do so via a QR code at the registration table; cash will not be accepted. Race day registrants are not guaranteed a race shirt.
