Adventure Race

Date--May 29,2027

Check in--8:00am

Start--8:30am

Location--Rockford Lake--S98th East Locust Road Dam Area 
10 miles East of Beatrice South of Hwy 136

2 hour 5 hour race

Fees--2 hour--$35 each  5 hour--$45 each

Fees include--shirts,snacks,drinks,maps,medals for top teams

Registration closes May 15

Info/format--Solo,Teams of 2 (male,female,coed) 

Teams and solo's must check in their time frame or be penalized (time loss of 1 checkpoint for every 5 minutes late)

Teams and Solo's have to navigate and decide what they can get or complete in their time frame.

Disciplines--mountain biking,kayaking,running,hiking,map reading

Racers get maps /clues/punch cards at check in.

Racers will be looking for checkpoints on their route.

Maps will be pre-plotted Cal Topo maps

Kayaks and bikes will be dropped in transition area by the start/finish area

Solo's will do all events and teams will run and bike together but only one kayaks.

Approximate Distances--Run/Hike--4-5 miles  Bike--22 miles round trip--kayak--2 miles

REMEMBER racers may come back at anytime to make cutoff. It all comes down the number of checkpoints you get under cutoff.

Gear needed--small packs--bike repair kit for flats--cell phone--snacks-water-map cases or ziplock bags
