Tie up those sneakers and get ready to run, walk, or cheer with true Southern spirit! The very first Key to a Cure 5K is making its debut, kicking off a new race tradition rooted in Alabama pride. Guided by our motto, “Caring - Our Way of Life,” this event is all about community - lifting each other up and stepping forward to create brighter tomorrows.

Join us in bringing brighter futures to the kids at Children’s of Alabama! The Bright Futures 5K and Fun Run is brand new, and we’re racing toward meaningful change. Every dollar raised goes directly to Children’s of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, supporting essential research, daily operations, and the children who rely on their care.

 

Awards
Top 1st - 3rd male and female finishers.

Packet Pickup will be on the morning of the race at Veterans Park in Hoover.
