## Description

Join us for the Dothan Fire Department's Annual Going for the Gold 5K & Family Fun Day!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 28th at 8:00 AM as we gather at Water World, Dothan's Most Exciting Beach, for a morning of fitness, family fun, and community impact.

Going for the Gold is the second race in the Dothan Heroes Challenge Series, bringing together runners, walkers, ruckers, first responders, and community members to support a great cause while challenging themselves throughout the series. Whether you're chasing a personal record, walking with friends, or bringing the whole family out for a fun morning, there's something for everyone.
After the race, stick around for our 2nd Annual Firefighter Fire Truck Pull, then enjoy Family Fun Day at Water World!

All proceeds will be donated to the Developmental Therapeutic Program for Childhood Cancer Support!
