Join the Amazon Pulse Virtual Run. Welcome to a race with an impact. Whether you are running on a treadmill in Miami, walking through a park in Orlando, or pacing your neighborhood anywhere in the US, your steps will directly protect the largest rainforest in the world and its original guardians. Why are we running? The Amazon Rainforest is facing unprecedented challenges, and protecting it means supporting the indigenous peoples who have successfully guarded this biome for centuries. All net proceeds from this virtual race will be donated directly to Associação Kanindé (Kanindé Ethno-Environmental Defense Association), a highly respected NGO based in Rondônia, Brazil. For decades, Kanindé has worked alongside indigenous leaders—such as the Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau and Paiter Suruí peoples—to defend territory, fight illegal deforestation, and promote sustainable community development.
