The Melissa Doise 17th Annual Hope for the Miracle

 

 5K Breast Cancer Race/Walk

 Saturday, October 3, 2026

 

Where:     300 N. State St.

                 Jennings, LA 70545

                 JD Courthouse Parking Lot, Downtown Jennings, LA

 

Time:       7:30 a.m. Registration Opens

                 8:00 a.m.  5K Run/Walk           

 

Show your support – wear your pink and costumes are encouraged     

Closing Ceremony for all breast cancer survivors

Our Mission is to assist those that are diagnosed with and are battling breast cancer in Jeff Davis Parish

 

Registration Fees

Early Registration:  till October 1st  -   $30.00

Late Registration:   Race Day  -  $35.00

 

Categories

5K Runners are timed:  Awards will be 1st and 2nd  Male & Female in each Age Group

Age Groups are 10 & Under, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 & Over

5K Walkers:  Will not be timed.

 

There will be no refunds if event is cancelled due to inclement weather. 

 

If you do not make it the day of the race, it is your responsibility to contact us to receive your shirt.
