The Legwork for Lungs 5K Run and Mile Walk is hosting their 10th annual event that will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, featuring our 5k run, 1-mile fitness walk, raffles, and games. Food, drinks, music, prizes, shirts, and medals will be provided! This event is held to raise funds for lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center during Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

T-shirts are given for free to the first 100 early 5K registrants, and will be available for purchase as well.

Schedule

Upon arrival, please check in at the pavilion.

10:00 AM: Check-In Opens

10:45 AM: 1Mi-Walk Check-In Ends

11 AM: 1Mi-Walk Starts

11:30 AM: 5K Check-In Ends

11:45 AM: 5K Starts

12:45 PM: Awards Ceremony

Awards

Awards will be given to the three overall top male and female finishers and to the top finishers in every age bracket: 

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over
