Every day in Nashville, families served by Dream Streets walk or ride the bus nearly five kilometers just to reach the grocery store. It’s a routine that demands resilience, grit, and strength. Those same qualities define the Dream Streets 5K & 10K, returning to West Nashville for its 12th annual running on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
This is not just another road race. It has been called one of the toughest 5K and 10K courses in the city. For those who line up at the start, the challenge goes hand in hand with the cause, honoring the perseverance of the community Dream Streets supports.
A Course Built for Grit
The race begins at the Dream Streets headquarters in West Nashville. Runners fly down the course’s signature hill before facing its defining feature: the climb back to the finish. It’s the hill that has earned this race its reputation. Every step is a test. Every step is also a tribute.
