We’re kicking off Rock ‘n’ Roll weekend the best way we know how—with miles, music, and community! Join us Friday night for a special shakeout event in partnership with Free to Move, a nonprofit founded in memory of Alyssa Lokits, a local runner and woman we all have come to cherish. We’re honored to support their mission to make movement safe and accessible for women worldwide.
Schedule:
5:30 PM – Group run/walk kicks off with demo shoes from New Balance starting at Tony Rose Park (8 Music Cir E, Nashville, TN 37203)
Post-run – Finish your miles at Tailgate on Music Row (1538 Demonbreun St) for drinks, snacks, and live music at 6:30 PM.
PS: Don't forget to hop over to the Rock n' Roll Expo at the Music City Center before 7pm to get your race packet.
Don’t miss:
– Demo the newest shoes from New Balance
– Bracelet-making & trading station hosted by the Free To Move team
– Raffle prizes from Free to Move + New Balance + Fleet Feet Nashville
– A chance to fill out Free to Move’s Safety Survey with Free To Move
– Routes supported by and led by our friends from East Nasty and PR Bandits 🙌
