This race starts and finishes at Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium on the South Slope of Downtown Asheville. Raise your spirits (pun intended) with your choice of a delicious Wicked Weed craft beer (21+) OR an N/A beverage! Also included in 5k race registration are: a Finisher Medal, Long Sleeve Race Shirt, Donation to MountainTrue, & Chip Timing. Show off your most creative, terrifying, or quirky costume for a chance to win great prizes. Whether you’re a spooky monster, a mystical creature, or a pop culture icon, this is your chance to shine! New in 2026 We’ve added a kid’s Creepy Crawly Climb! The climb starts/finishes in the same location as the 5k on Coxe Avenue. The course goes up to the intersection of Coxe & Hillard (closed to traffic) and back down. It’s approximately .25 mile. Creepy Crawler registration is a flat fee of $10 and receive a Finisher medal. You can add on a race shirt for $20 during check out. Parents are allowed to run with their kiddo's! 2026 Long Sleeve Race Shirt & Finisher Medal Included in 5k registration
