Our Fallen Hero 5K Run/Walk In Memory of PFC Aaron Toppen Saturday, September 26, 8:00a.m. Join us for the 13th Annual Our Fallen Hero 5K Run/Walk, and help us to honor the sacrifice made by PFC Aaron Toppen, and others who have selflessly served their communities and country. come out to enjoy a 5K (3.1 miles)* on a USATF certified course that weaves you through the streets of Mokena, Illinois, including Townline Road, also named PFC Memorial Drive. All pre-registered participants will receive a custom-designed wicking T-Shirt. Women shirts will be red, men blue and kids will be white. a bag filled with goodies from our sponsors and partners. On the day of event, we'll warm up with Spenga and a live DJ. Afterwords, we'll celebrate the winners with an awards ceremony and refreshments from Berkots including bananas, apples and other local vendors. Oh and don't forget to check our raffles (tickets available for purchase onsite)! 1 free raffle entry when you register from July 1st- August 15th. Raffle prize will be table top solo stove! With your support, we're proud to again sponsor the USO Of Illinois again this year, where our proceeds will fund year-round programs and services that enhances the quality of the lives of our service members and their families- such as the Reading Program, Canine Program, Care Packages, USO Gaming Faclities, and USO Centers at Midway Airport, Great Lake Naval Station, O'Hare (Terminals 2 & 3) and Rock Island Arsenal. All participants Must complete course within 60 minutes Awards- Overall winner for Female and Male & 1st place finisher in each age category for female and male Giveaways- 1 free raffle entry when you register from July 1st- August 15th.
