    About This Event

    CORE + Giving 2026

(Benefiting Dr. Safran's Oncology Research Fund at Rhode Island Hospital) In Memory of Suzanne Tanner

Join us on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, for the 19th Annual CORE + Giving, benefiting Dr. Safran’s Oncology Research Fund at Rhode Island Hospital and held in loving memory of Suzanne Tanner.

CORE + Giving is a Thanksgiving tradition centered around movement, community, gratitude, and giving back. This year, we continue to honor Suzanne’s incredible spirit, strength, kindness, and love of running while supporting meaningful cancer research right here in Rhode Island.

100% of funds raised will benefit Dr. Howard P. Safran and his oncology research team, helping support innovative cancer research, clinical trials, and access to promising new treatments.
