The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Harris-Hannah Post 6527 in Greenwood, Arkansas, will be hosting a chipped-timed 5K Run/Walk for Warriors on October 24, 2026. All monies raised will be used to help local veterans in-need.
The 5K check-in between 8-8:45am at our VFW POST on the Square in Greenwood, AR, at 305 E Center St.
OUR STARTING POINT IS AT THE COAL MINER's MEMORIAL, NEXT TO FIRST NATIONAL BANK.
The route will take you STRAIGHT ACROSS Bell Road, pass behind the high school and back down Main Street, with a finish at Town Square. WE WILL HAVE CLEAR MARKERS ON THE ROAD, PERSONNEL AT EACH TURN, AND A NEW MAP POSTED BEFOREHAND for you.
The race will be officially chipped and timed with Jaymax Race Timing Services, and volunteers will man various locations along the route.

Top place medals in different age categories and t-shirts for the first 250 to register.
THIS YEAR Placement medals for FASTEST and CUTEST (DOG) COSTUME (1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE EACH CATEGORY)
