About the Race
Join us for the 6th Annual Spartanburg Run for Babies 5K! In 2027 we are staying at Fifth Third Park, home of the Hub City Spartanburgers. This 5K benefits March of Dimes and the incredible work they do every day.
Every family deserves the best possible start, but that's just not the case yet. With your help, we can change that.

Who needs to register? Only children who are running the race and need a bib or T-shirt need to register. If you are pushing a child in a stroller, the child does not need to be registered.

The race starts and finishes at Fifth Third Park. The timed finish line is on the back side of the stadium, before you enter the field.

This race supports March of Dimes
Each year, one woman dies every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes. 1 in 9 babies in South Carolina is born too soon.
March of Dimes is focused on one thing: helping more moms and babies be healthy and strong. The annual March for Babies and Run for Babies campaigns are its largest weapon against the heartaches that exist in maternal and infant health. We look forward to a day when every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race or geography, and we need your help to make that happen.
We engage our local community with sponsorship opportunities, employee giving campaigns, volunteer engagement, advocacy efforts and more.
Spartanburg Run for Babies is part of the Upstate Giving Series, where every race is paired with a cause making a difference in our community.

Groups & Teams
Save $5 in groups of 5+
Run it with your crew. Join a run club or team when you register, or start your own. Once your group reaches 5 runners, everyone saves $5, and earlier sign-ups get the difference back automatically.

Race Policies
Pets: Pets are allowed with a signed waiver, available on site via QR code at the gate. No pets are allowed on the field. Participants with pets may take a photo at the finish area on the back side of the stadium and then head back to the concourse.

Good to Know
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Pets are welcome with a signed waiver, available on site via QR code at the gate. Pets are not allowed on the field.
Can I push a stroller?
Yes. A child riding in a stroller does not need to be registered. Only children running the race who need a bib or T-shirt need to register.
Where do I park?
The Spartanburgers Parking Garage at 158 Pollard Street.
When and where is packet pickup?
Thursday, April 15, 4:00–6:00 PM at Hub City Runners, or race morning starting at 8:00 AM at the Left Field Gate.
Can I register on race day?
Yes. Online registration stays open until the 9:00 AM start, and you can also register on site starting at 8:00 AM.
Are headphones or earbuds allowed?
Yes, just be mindful of your surroundings and the runners around you.
When will results be available?
Live results post to the RunSignUp results page as each runner finishes.
Managing Your Registration
Everything about your entry lives in your RunSignUp profile. Sign in, find this race under your upcoming events, and make the change yourself. There is no need to email us first. From there you can:
✓ Transfer your entry to another runner (the new runner pays a $5 transfer fee)
✓ Update your personal details: name, address, emergency contact, shirt size
✓ Join or change your run club or team
All registrations are final. There are no refunds or deferrals.
