    About This Event

Welcome to our fifth annual AmeriServ Worth the Weight Race set to take place Saturday, August 8th in Old Westmont. We offer 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run (WTW Kids!), and virtual options.

Worth the Weight Kids! will start at 8 AM and our adult races (5K run/walk and 10K) will start at 8:15 AM. Location is the same: 827 Diamond Blvd. Johnstown, PA 15905 (bathrooms will be available on-site).

All routes will feature the quaint and scenic neighborhood of Old Westmont and was recently updated last year to include the beautiful Inclined Plane! Follow the link to watch a video tour of both our 5K and our improved 10K races: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAjG17Jg0zY (special thanks to Dean Banko of Only Eye Athletics for the video)

Our race is timed by Runner’s High.

We will have food, drinks, and music, as always, as well as prizes (thanks to Roots Kitchen on Main Street). Come out and support our goal of providing comfort by the pound! We can't wait to see you there!

Thank you to all our community partners: Local Labor Union #910, Journey Church, USSCO Credit Union, & Family Dentistry Associates. Also, thank you to Starbucks for your in-kind donation every year and Cafe Dodie for partnering with us to give a free coffee after the race each year.
