    About This Event

Scooty’s Run is a 5K run and walk event held in observance of National Suicide Prevention Month. It honors Will “Scooty” Taylor and his athletic legacy, raising awareness and funds for The Scooty Fund—a nonprofit working to transform mental health culture for young people.

In-person meetups take place across the country in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC. Our first on-campus meetup will take place at University of South Carolina. Participants also have the option to participate virtually in locations without a meetup by walking/running a 5k wherever they are. Want to host an in-person meetup in your city? Reach out to us at hello@scootyfund.org.
