Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a family-friendly 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk on the Gorge Trail in Cazenovia, NY. Courses are out-and-back on a gravel converted rail-trail.
Race Setup:
Professional Chip Timing Separate courses and staggered start times for 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. (Start location is the same for both.)
Race Fees: Pre-registration is highly recommended. Final day to pre-register is Tuesday, November 25 at 5 pm.
$22 for CPF Members $27 for Non Members (to become a CPF member, go to cazpreservation.org/membership) $35 for day-of-race registrations for all runners/walkers ages 13 and up. Kids aged 12 and under are FREE.
Race Day Details
8:00-9:00 am: Pick up Race Bibs at check-in table. 9:30 am: 5K Race Start (north-bound on the Gorge Trail). 9:40 am: 1-mile Fun Run/Walk Start (south-bound on the Gorge Trail). 10:15 am: Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category (Men, Women, and Youth). Costumes are encouraged! Wear your favorite Turkey Trot garb. We will be collecting non-perishable food for Caz Cares. Please bring a canned food donation. There are no bathroom facilities at the trail head. Please take care of business before you arrive. NO DOGS OR STROLLERS PERMITTED ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.
Directions and Parking
Please use Burton Street to access parking at Burton Street Elementary School, 37 Burton Street, Cazenovia, NY. The Clark Street bridge will be closed from 8 - 11 a.m. Google Map Link to Gorge Trail, Clark Street entrance.
