Run the Legacy 5K Event Cancellation
We regret to inform you that, due to lower-than-expected registration numbers, the Run the Legacy 5K has been canceled.
This was not an easy decision, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who registered, supported, and helped promote this year’s event. Unfortunately, the current level of participation does not allow us to move forward with the event as planned.
All registered participants will receive a full refund. However, if you would prefer to transfer your registration to the Reindeer Run 5K on Saturday, December 19, 2026, please let us know, and we will be happy to arrange the transfer instead.
We apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.
Lace up for the Run the Legacy 5K at Renault Winery! Start your fall weekend with a morning run, followed by plenty of ways to enjoy the season at the winery. Stick around after the race for a glass of wine, lunch, live music, or one of our signature seasonal fall coffee or cocktails.

Course information: This flat 5K follows a multi-surface out-and-back route from Renault Winery to Egg Harbor City Lake and back. The course is primarily on packed dirt roads through wooded areas, with only minimal sections on pavement, making for a smooth and scenic run. 5K Run Course Map
