Support Oakland Tech Students and Programs Join us for a 5K trail race or 1-mile fun run/walk in beautiful Joaquin Miller Park on November 1, 2026 (end of Daylight savings time.) The course winds through towering redwoods and offers both a scenic stroll for casual participants and a challenging route for competitive runners.

This event is a fundraiser for the Oakland Tech PTSA, which provides invaluable funding for student programs and activities. Every dollar makes a difference for our students. The PTSA supports the Oakland Tech Cross Country team by covering costs for meet entry fees, training equipment, nutrition, and travel — all essential for helping our runners perform at their best.

Oakland Tech Cross Country athletes have a proud tradition of success, with varsity cross country teams winning the Oakland League Championship for three of the past four years. Your participation helps continue this tradition of excellence.
