Event Summary: 5K Run and Half Mile Fun Run
Event Details: The 22nd Annual Bear Foot 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run will be held on March 13, 2027, 8:30 am at Sunshine Elementary School located at 231 Toney Road Bostic, NC 28018. All proceeds benefit Sunshine Elementary School K-5 students.
This event will be held rain or shine! No pets, please!
Shirt preference will be available to 5K Runners if registered by February 26, 2027. After February 26, shirt preference availability is not guaranteed. The 1/2 Mile Fun Run is for children 5th grade and under. There is no charge for the 1/2 Mile Fun Run and it DOES NOT include a shirt. Additional shirts will be available for sale while supplies last.
Age Divisions: Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups will received a medal: 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95+
Overall Winners: Top 3 Male and Female in the 5k will received a trophy!
1/2 mile Fun Run for 5th grade and under: (Fun Run is not timed but every child will receive a medal)

Friday 3/12 - 3:00PM-6:00PM @ Sunshine Elementary Race Day: Onsite from 7:00AM to 8:15AM
