Get ready for the 2027 Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk on September 18, 2027!
The Donut Dash is a fun, family-friendly race where everyone is welcome—from experienced runners looking for a challenge to walkers, families, kids, and anyone who simply wants to have a great morning and enjoy a donut at the finish!
The race will start and finish at Nappanee Missionary Church, located at 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN 46550, just 2 miles north of downtown Nappanee and south of Wakarusa.
Enjoy a scenic out-and-back course through the beautiful Nappanee countryside, with farms, open spaces, and a great view of the community along the way.
After you cross the finish line, celebrate with donuts, refreshments, and plenty of fun!
And don’t rush home! After the race, head downtown and enjoy everything the Nappanee Apple Festival has to offer. Check out the local shops, festival activities, food, entertainment, and more with your family and friends.

Saturday, September 18: 6:30–8:20 AM Race morning packet pickup inside the church.

Awards Information:
1 Mile Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 boys and top 3 girls in the following age groups: 12 and under, and 13 and older. -
5K Awards: Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women finishers. -
Age Group Awards for the 5K: The top 3 male and female runners in each of the following age groups will receive a custom apple award:

Award Distribution
Awards will be presented shortly after the last participant crosses the finish line of the 5K.

We love our furry friends, but for everyone’s safety, dogs and pets are not allowed at the event. Certified service animals are always welcome.
Race day registration will be online only...NO PAPER REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY.
