    About This Event

Paula’s Path Inc. proudly presents the Fourth Annual Paula’s Path 5K Walk!

Join us as we come together to raise awareness for Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) and provide financial support to a local family facing the overwhelming medical costs associated with managing this, stage 4 disease.

Our annual 5K Walk will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at Sam Michael’s Park in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Registration opens at 9:00 AM. Every participant will receive a Paula’s Path t‑shirt and an MBC ribbon pin, generously sponsored by our community partners.

Each year, 230,000 Americans are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 6–10% of those diagnoses are metastatic, or stage 4. In the summer of 2018, Paula Grant, a mother, friend, and beloved local business owner, became part of that statistic. Her 18‑month journey was marked by courage, love, and unforgettable moments. We honor Paula’s legacy daily, and this walk stands as a tribute to her strength and to all who face MBC.

Paula’s Path has raised more than $13,000 for families in need. This isn’t just a dollar amount, it’s access to more time, relief in moments of uncertainty, and hope when it’s needed most.

We’ve welcomed over 130 participants who have walked with purpose, championed our mission, and carried Paula’s message far beyond the event itself. We are also deeply grateful for our generous sponsors, whose support continues every year.

Through heartfelt storytelling and powerful community engagement, our message has soared over 100,000 views across social media, spreading awareness, connection, and compassion to thousands.

This walk thrives because of the passion of individuals, volunteers, and sponsors. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful impact on families affected by metastatic breast cancer.

We hope you’ll join us as we walk, Paula’s Path.

Thank you sincerely for your support,

Melissa Grant | Founder of Paula’s Path Inc.
