In honor of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority's founding on January 9, 1914, and January 16, 1920, gather brothers, sisters, and friends for a fun run/walk supporting the brotherhood & sisterhood! The Crescent Educational Foundation (501C3) and the men of Rho Eta Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. are hosting the Inaugural Dove (Founder's Day) Virtual 5k [walk/run/move] on January 9th, 2024 thru January 16th, 2024 for participants of all ages. This is a virtual 5K that will be completed between January 9th through January 16th, 2024. Registrants will receive a reminder when the run officially launches on January 9th, in which you then have until January 16th to run or walk or move a 5K distance and upload your results to our platform. We will send you a final reminder on January 16th to complete your upload. All finishers that post their results on RunSignUp will receive the Dove 5K medal. Medals will be shipped shortly after the completion of the Dove 5K on January 16th, 2024. Grab your friends and register today!

All proceeds collected will contribute towards the Crescent Foundation scholarship fund to provide college scholarships to deserving students.

How do you participate?

Register for event via runsignup.com. Donations are also welcome.
You can walk, run or move any day or time between January 9th, 2024 thru January 16th, 2024. You can break the run up in different days or times if you choose.
(optional) Download the Nike Run Club app from Google Play Store or Apple Store to accurately track your time and distance or use your favorite run tracking app.
Upon completion of your 5K Run/Walk post a picture of your completion time, a picture of yourself running and or working out and post time both on RunSignUp.
