RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP: OPENS at 7:30am - 1K KIDS RACE at 8:30am - 5K RACE & WALK at 9am
LOCATION: Eastern Community YMCA, 2960 Pickle Road, Oregon, Ohio or Choose Virtual Option
COURSE: Start and finish at the YMCA on a fast 5K road course on city streets with a water station.
AWARDS & PRIZES - 5K RACE Open to all Ages:
Overall Male/Female, Overall Master (40+) & Grand Masters male/female win Gift Certificates from Second Sole! Age group awards (at least 5 deep), 9 & under, 10-14, 15–19, 20–24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80–84, 85 & older. The walk is non-competitive. First Male and Female to reach the one-mile mark win Turkeys! (Must finish the race, the runner, not the turkey!) Costume Contest for: Best Overall Costume, Best Turkey Look Alike, and Race Director Choice.
SHIRTS, REFRESHMENTS AND OTHER INFO:
All pre-registered participants by November 15th will receive a LONG SLEEVE TRIBLEND shirt and $10.00 shoe discount coupon from Second Sole. Late registration/race day shirt availability will be very limited. Fruit, Baked Goods, Sport Drink, and Award Ceremony Early packet pick-up and late registration at Second Sole on Tuesday, 11/24 and Wednesday, 11/25 during store hours. Race will be timed by disposable bib chips with online scoring. Faster results and more time for Turkey! Virtual Option available to still get shirt and support YMCA Scholarship Fun while maintaining a Thanksgiving Tradition. Race proceeds will go to the YMCA Scholarship Fund. Which is dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and community.

5K Race/Walk Pre-registered – postmark or on-line by Sunday, November 15, 2026: $ 24.00 Register in-person at Second Sole by Sunday, November 15 and receive a $2 discount off the above fees. (Please pay by cash or check when signing up in store.)
