RCSF Treasured Tradition Continues to Support ALL Students at RCS!
Let's keep the tradition going strong at the 21st Annual Hometown Hustle 5K and 1 Mile Color Fun Run!
Let's come together again to walk, run or stroll as ONE community for ONE cause: the BEST educational experience for all students of Rochester Community Schools!
About this event: The Rochester Community Schools (RCS) Foundation Hometown Hustle, is a five-kilometer, timed or untimed fun run/walk that has become an annual treasured tradition and principal fundraiser to benefit the students of RCS! This event brings together more than 1,100 participants and onlookers to celebrate fitness, family time and all proceeds are returned to RCS to enhance the educational experience of all students!
The One-Mile COLOR Fun Run is BACK! A one-mile UNTIMED route has been approved for runners, walkers or wannabe flyers to be plastered with different colors from head to toe!
Participants will receive a color packet!
Once the race is over, the fun continues in the parking lot of Chief Financial Credit Union, with music, some dancing, photo ops, sponsors, and an opportunity to participate with the 5K runner/walkers around the beautiful Paint Creek Trail and City of Rochester.
ONE REGISTRATION - TWO RACES!
NOTE: If you plan on running both races and want to be timed for the 5K run, please register for the 5K RUN/WALK | TIMED BIB and arrive at or before 8 am to run both races. SEE YOU AT THE RACE!

1-mile color fun run: Horn goes off at 8:10 a.m. SHARP
5K run or walk: Horn goes off at 8:30 a.m.
Closing remarks and awards at 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $ 30 - Adult $ 20 - RCS K-12 Student *REGISTER 4 or more adults and receive $5 off for each adult registration!
*Every registrant will receive a swag bag that includes a t-shirt, a bib and great sponsor goodies! *All color fun run registrants will receive an a color packet!
REMINDER: Deadline for a guaranteed 2026 t-shirt is August 31 – all registrations after August 31, may receive a different size t-shirt or a Hometown Hustle t-shirt from a previous year.

For every 50 participants registered (any age), your school receives $500! The elementary, middle and high school with the most participants WINS an ADDITIONAL $1,000 to use at their building.
