POTTERS RACE DAY IS BACK!
Saturday, October 17th | Potters Pasture
Grab your bike, lace up your running shoes, round up your friends, and get ready for the 3rd Annual Potters Race Day!
Whether you’re chasing a podium, looking for a new challenge, or just want to spend an awesome fall day outdoors, there’s an adventure waiting for you at Potters Pasture.
GRAVEL RACES & RIDES
This year, we’ve beefed up the gravel options with three routes through the beautiful rolling hills of central Nebraska!
69 Miles — Go big! A timed gravel race for riders ready to test themselves.
41 Miles — Plenty of hills, gravel, and competition! This race will also be timed.
18 Miles — A challenging but fun gravel/pavement ride featuring some fantastic scenery as you ride past—and down the hill from—Jeffrey Lake.
The 69- and 41-mile races will feature cash prizes for the top three men and top three women!
HIT THE TRAILS! — 5K & 10K
Prefer running? Take on a 5K or 10K trail race through Potters Pasture!
The trail races kick off at 9:00 AM, and the gravel rides don't start until 10:00 AM, so feeling ambitious?
RUN IT. THEN RIDE IT.
Bring your friends, bring the family, or bring your favorite four-legged adventure buddy on a leash! There are plenty of ways to enjoy the day.
AND YES…THERE WILL BE FOOD!
After you cross the finish line, stick around for hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoy some time with your fellow racers, riders, and Potters Pasture supporters.

This year’s Race Day means even more.
Potters Pasture suffered significant fire damage this spring, including the loss of the maintenance garage, mower, post-hole digger, refrigerator, tools, and other amenities that help keep Potters running.
Every dollar raised from Potters Race Day will go toward rebuilding, maintaining, and improving the place we all love.
A dedicated group of volunteers has been working incredibly hard to keep Potters Pasture open and available for everyone. By spending the day racing, riding, running, donating, or simply joining the fun, you’re helping build Potters back better than ever.
Don’t want to race but still want to help? Donations are greatly appreciated!
MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT!
Camping is available at Potters Pasture, with limited electrical and water hookups. Reservations can be made through Hipcamp or The Dyrt.
Prefer a hotel? You’ll find lodging options nearby in Cozad, Gothenburg, and North Platte.
