This year’s run will be a timed race. Each participant is required to register, which will include a running bib, themed T-shirt for registrants before 10/05, and entry to the costume contest. Participants aged 21 and over are eligible for a complimentary adult beverage at race conclusion, provided by Midway Mart. The race itself is slightly over a 5k loop (3.3 miles) around North Lakes Park.

A key element of the event will be the family friendly Trick or Treat Trail, where participants can stop at various candy stations around the playground. This will take place in the playground and picnic area of North Lakes Park.
