Lakeland Hills Family YMCA is proud to host the Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot for the third year, continuing a beloved Thanksgiving tradition made possible by the community members who established and supported it over the years.
Whether you are racing toward a personal best, walking with family, jogging alongside friends, or cheering from the sidelines, everyone has a place in the flock. Lace up your running shoes, bring your Thanksgiving spirit, and join us for a fun, festive morning filled with achievement, belonging, and community connection.

Thursday, November 26, 2026 — Rain or Shine Race Start: 9:00 AM Check-In and Race-Day Registration: 7:30 AM Start and Finish: Wildwood Elementary School 51 Glen Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046
The Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot is a USATF-sanctioned 5K for participants of all ages and abilities. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome. Children ages 2 and younger participate free.
Race-Day Schedule 7:30 AM — Check-In and Race-Day Registration 8:50 AM — Call to the Post 9:00 AM — Start Trotting
Race packets may be picked up at the start location on race morning, but advance packet pickup is strongly encouraged to avoid crowds and additional wait time.

Entry Fee $35 — Through Wednesday, November 18 at 11:59 PM $40 — Beginning Thursday, November 19, including Thanksgiving Day
Event Amenities Participants who register by Monday, November 9 are guaranteed an event T-shirt.
Enjoy a festive race-day atmosphere featuring a DJ, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, and Thanksgiving fun for the entire community.
