All About Walk/Run for Abilis We look forward to celebrating two decades of coming together as a community, alongside Abilis program participants. their families, friends, Abilis staff, local businesses, hundreds of donors, and our army of amazing volunteers who make Walk/Run for Abilis such a successful, fun family event!
We invite you to join as a team, wear fun outfits, challenge one another to run the 5K or walk 1-mile, and share your videos and photos from the morning on social media with the hashtags #Abilis #WalkRunforAbilis. We will also share your photos and videos in our online photo album, so please email them to walkrun@abilis.us.
Why Walk or Run? This year, funds raised by Walk/Run for Abilis will support enhancing our day program — a place where individual choice drives meaningful experiences. From life skills and job training to building friendships, we offer small group and personalized programs that empower every participant. While DDS funding supports larger group environments, it falls short of covering the individual attention each person deserves. Your support for Walk/Run for Abilis will help bridge that gap, ensuring everyone at Abilis has the opportunity to thrive.
