About This Event

Benefiting the Haus Family Foundation, The Haus Family Foundation was created in late 2022 to expand on our core value of supporting the community that has supported us for these past 26 years. Its mission is simple- to provide funding and exposure to the smaller non profits in our community that lack resources to obtain funding from larger corporations. Proceeds will benefit GRASP - Greater Randolph Area Services Program. They help individuals experiencing poverty, food and shelter insecurity and isolated seniors become independent, self-sufficient and live healthier.

Saturday, October 31, 2026 Retama Park – Selma, TX 5K | Family- Pet Friendly/ Kid Fun Run (2-8)

Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a spirited morning of fun, fitness, and pancakes at the Día De Los Muertos Not-So-Fun Run 5K, brought to you by The Magnolia Pancake Haus! Held on October 31st at beautiful Retama Park, this festive run is perfect for the whole family — walkers, strollers, and skeletons of all speeds welcome!

Highlights:

Timed 5K on a flat course at Retama Park Costume-friendly! Dress up in your best Día De Los Muertos style FREE pancakes and post-race fun for participants Family-friendly atmosphere with finisher's medals for all participants & T-Shirt All proceeds benefit the Haus Family Foundation

Come dressed in your Día De Los Muertos best and celebrate life, community, and giving back. After crossing the finish line, stick around for a delicious, haus-made pancake breakfast served up fresh by the team at Magnolia Pancake Haus. All proceeds benefit the Haus Family Foundation, supporting local causes and making a difference in our community.

Whether you're running for the pancakes, the costumes, or the cause, this 5K is more fun than not.
