Sandy Claus 5K & Mistletoe Fun Run Saturday, December 12th | Jekyll Island, GA
Ditch the snow boots and grab your running shoes—Sandy Claus is coming to town! Join us on the beautiful shores of Jekyll Island for a coastal Christmas celebration like no other. This year’s event will be extra magical as it takes place under the lights on Jekyll Island, adding a twinkling coastal glow to your run. Participants will run/walk past the iconic Jekyll Christmas light installations. Whether you're racing for a PR or strolling with friends, you'll enjoy a sparkling run full of holiday cheer.
Sandy Claus 5k starts: 6:30am
Mistletoe Fun Run starts: 7:00am
Costumes encouraged—Santa hats, reindeer antlers, ugly sweaters (breathable ones, please), or go full beach elf!
Finish line perks include holiday tunes, coastal treats, and maybe even a visit from Sandy Claus himself—he trades his sleigh for a beach cruiser down here. Runners will also receive Holiday inspired swag, awards for the overall and age group winners.

Age Group Awards: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Packet pick up: Friday December 11th: 2pm-6pm at the entrance to Jekyll Island off of Hwy 17. See map below.
Saturday December 12th: 5:30am-6:15am for the 5k. Until 6:45am for the Fun Run. Both at the start/finish area.
Start and Finish for all races will be at Pier Rd and Hopkins Avenue.
