The East Lake Firefighters Benevolent Association is proud to welcome runners back for the Annual East Lake Firefighters 5K, presented by Fran Haasch Law Group, on Saturday, February 27, 2027!
We are incredibly grateful to Fran Haasch Law Group for joining us as the Title Sponsor of the 2027 East Lake Firefighters 5K. Their generous support helps make this event possible and allows us to continue our mission of supporting first responders, their families, and members of the East Lake community.
This chip-timed 5K will start and finish at East Lake Fire Rescue Station 57, located at 3375 Tarpon Lake Boulevard, Palm Harbor, FL 34685.
All registered runners will receive an official East Lake Firefighters 5K participant T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. After crossing the finish line, stick around and celebrate with us at Station 57 for a complimentary post race pancake breakfast and race day festivities.
Running for Our Community Since our founding in 2022, the East Lake Firefighters Benevolent Association has donated tens of thousands of dollars to support first responders and their families during some of life's most challenging moments, including battles with cancer and recovery from job related injuries.
Our mission extends beyond the fire service. Through community outreach, we have connected with thousands of local children, supported organizations such as the East Lake Rotary Club, assisted with hurricane cleanup efforts, and helped local families in need to enjoy a brighter Christmas.
Proceeds from the 2027 East Lake Firefighters 5K will directly benefit the East Lake Firefighters Benevolent Association, helping us continue our year round efforts to support first responders, their families, and the East Lake community.
Awards The Top Three Overall Male and Female Finishers will each receive a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place Ribbon Slide Award, designed to attach directly to the ribbon of their official East Lake Firefighters 5K finisher medal.
Age Group Awards will also be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in each of the following divisions:
0–9 10–14 15-19 20–24 25–29 30–34 35–39 40–44 45–49 50–54 55–59 60–64 65–69 70–74 75–79 80+
Age group winners will receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Ribbon Slide Award that attaches directly to their race medal ribbon, creating a unique keepsake recognizing their race-day achievement.

Race-day packet pickup will also be available on the Saturday morning of race day. If you plan to pick up your packet on race day, please arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the race to allow plenty of time for check-in and preparation.

The church is within walking distance of Station 57, which will serve as the start and finish line as well as the location of the post-race celebration.
For added convenience, a complimentary shuttle service will begin transporting participants from the parking area to Station 57 starting at 7:00 AM on race morning.
Limited parking will also be available on the north side of Tarpon Lake Boulevard directly across from Station 57. These spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
