Join us for the Des Moines Christian Lions on the Run 5K, a community race and celebration hosted on the DMC campus. This special event serves as the season finale for our Lions on the Run camp, where 3rd–5th grade students have been training together in faith, fitness, and fun. The 5K gives our young athletes the chance to showcase their hard work while crossing the finish line alongside family, friends, and community members.
Whether you’re running or walking to support a DMC student, chasing a new personal best, or simply enjoying a family-friendly event, this 5K is a celebration of community, perseverance, and school spirit open to all ages and athletic abilities. Come cheer on our Lions, run or walk the course, and be a part of an unforgettable day!
Younger siblings and family members are invited to participate in a FREE one-lap race around the track at the conclusion of the 5K. Stick around to cheer them on and celebrate the fun!
Packet Pick-Up Details (campers will receive their packets the morning of the 5K... details will be emailed to parents)
*All registrants will receive a finisher's medal and shirt; however, shirts/desired sizes are only guaranteed if registering before 10/10/2025.
